This one is dedicated to my brother who mentioned at my wedding that I was drawn to making things out of old socks. I still haven’t made that rug out of old socks but I may one day. A rug will definitely be a future project.
This one takes less time to do than to write about. It’s the quickest craft around.
Start with a pair of cute tights. The ones I used came from my daughter. They were thoroughly used and had holes in the toes. Cut to length and place over a clean metal can. For the bottom edge, I folded the fabric under and at the top I folded the fabric over the top of the can. Done.
