Yoga classes
Gentle Yoga
Wednesdays at 10:30 am – 11:45 am
Let’s take a meet and greet approach to group classes and our movement practice as we ease back into activities in the community. Class size is capped at 7 participants to allow for ample spacing.
- Tuning in to our expression of yoga poses will develop strength, mobility and body awareness.
- As we move simply and mindfully, often times we relieve stiffness and pain in back, shoulders, hips and neck
- Relaxation poses and gentle myofascial release techniques will be used to bring balance to the body
- We’ll look at stress and how we can respond and self-regulate
Please bring a yoga mat, a large towel and a curiosity about our amazing bodies.
A small inflatable ball, tennis ball or a pair of thick socks rolled up into a ball may be used in some classes. Please bring one of these to class.
No prior yoga experience required.
June Kwak has been teaching for over 10 years and holds certifications from the Myofascial Yoga Institute of Canada (300Hr), the Yoga Studio College of Canada (RYT 200), Critical Alignment and Therapy (CAY-T Level IV) and Mindful Yin Yoga.
