Hooper, Who are you when you strip away the hoop?
Well if you are a dancer that’s a damn good thing to be.
Beyond the dancer,
a vibration
through space and time
Where do you begin or end?
You are always embraced and embracing another
intermingled through space and time
Feed the vibe you want to feel in the world.
Thank you to Baxter and Kelly and Lori and everyone who was there! I’m super grateful to have danced with this community of bad ass hoop dancers. There were broken nails, blood, sweat, tears, laughs, love, so much love, dancing, singing, sharing, swaying, silence and all in all a great way to spin into spring!
This was my third hoop path weekend. I have written about the first, second and the poem I shared last year and here, I wrote about Baxter and Kate Potter and posted a video version of the short poem I had a chance to share/improvise with group.
Breathe down past my toes
Suspend Breath hands unfurling
Out breath hugs me
For those who missed the savasana. This guided savasana by Kate Potter is like having Jula whispering in your ear to know the forest. (Also the standing mediation may help your rooted hooping.)
Love it❤❤❤
Thanks Lori!
