Project #2: bike to the bus stop

We live in Calgary in the suburbs. It’s a small thing, but at least once a week, My 5 year old daughter bikes to her bus stop (about 1 km away). I run along behind with a bike trailer to take the bike home when she gets to the bus stop. Calgary is a dry place and we are biking in the winter. Our side walks are currently bare.
(The photo is from the spring time.) I like that the kids ask, “Can we bike there?”

Meanwhile I am impressed by friends who walk or bike whenever possible and a day home provider who I see sometimes with a wagon full of recycling and a kid or two off for an adventure on foot. The closest recycling depot is a good 30 minute walk away.
